For the record, that first beep was him just saying beep. The real beep is in a few seconds.

Heh- sorry. [Smirks, hugging close, the music still on loop in the background. Summoner takes a deep breath, letting his eyes close and his wings relax.]

[Darkleer just stays quiet, arms getting a little tighter around Summoner as he keeps swaying. Honestly, he's content to just stay like this with him.]

I- [A breath.] I do love, you know that, right?

[Sigh.]

[Wow Darkleer way to kill the mood.]

[Summoner immediately slumps a little from him, his grip loosening.]

It's- [He stumbles a little, trying to pull from him now, moving to stand.]

It's all right, blue, just. I know you want to talk about it but- there's not a lot to say, not right now. [Glances down.]

[For a brief second, he has the urge to cling harder but it's brief. A split second. He lets Summoner go, hands hanging in the hair for just a moment.]

I understand. Just... when do you think you'll have anything to say?

[rebull]

Depends on what you mean by that- a lot to say... you mean when I know- right?

[aim_exorable]

Not even that. Just... anything. Anything about the situation at all.

[rebull]

Like what? Nothing I say- will be new to you.

[aim_exorable]

Maybe it will. Maybe there's something you're thinking that I haven't realized yet. You weren't always open with me before this, and I Feel like now it's worse.

[rebull]

You- you really don't want me to be open to you about this. [Hell, no one does, Darkleer, Mindfang, neither of them will like what they hear, and Sollux, the person he should talk to, doesn't know what to say. So what's he supposed to do...]

Strangely enough, I think I do.

[Ugh. Sometimes it's frustrating when he gets like this, and Darkleer remembers Sollux saying that pushing made things worse- but how else can he get him to talk?]

If it's bad news, then at least I can be prepared for the worst or be all the more relieved if something good happens. Just "being myself" feels an awful lot as though I am doing nothing at all, for better or worse.

[rebull]

Ah, bad news is always good news to someone. [And still manages to be both good and bad news to him, at least in this situation. Summoner feels like his stomach's going to tear itself a part thinking about this right now, with Darkleer right there.]
